Extra field on account site

  • Hello!

    First thanks for this incredible plugin!

    Now I have a small problem.

    I just want to add a phone number field on the account page.

    With this code I did it:

    BUT if I edit the phone number on the account page it doesnt update…
    It only works if I edit the phone number on the profile page (I added the field in forms in ultimate member) – then the correct – updated – phone number appears also on the account page.

    So what i have to do that the phone number field on the account page updated too if i edit them?

  • Couple of things. First, we can’t provide plugin customization on WP forums. Second, the code you’re referring to works fine. It creates new fields and their new metakeys for the ‘account’ page in the DB which are then called back to page. So, if your phone field is not updating, then one metakey (in account or profile page) is not the default ‘phone_number’ metakey.

    Did you try it with a empty cache and refreshing browser (F5)?

    Hi @matthies98,

    Unfortunately, the code on the link will not work in the latest version as we have some changes in the UM account form. If you need this customization, you will need to hire a freelance developer to write this custom code to extend the functionality of the plugin.
