Extra charge if specific checkbox is selected – Is it possible?

    Hi, and congrats for your work.
    I want to add a field collecting the VAT number of the customer. The question is how to add a checkbox saying “I dont have a VAT – I am an individual” in case the customer does not have a VAT number and in this case a message displayed “20% VAT will be charged in your amount”. And of course if this checkbox is selected then 20% should automatically charged in the total amount of the order.
    Is this possible with your plugin?

    Hello gvpip.
    Thanks for sharing. Good idea. But will make it into the rich; but not within the next major release. The rich guy will include new features, price able fields, some condionality, tax, anticipation, but your feature will have to wait a month or two.

    Do I understand by this that you’re going to add checkboxes in a next release?

    That’s pretty much what I wanted the plugin for. A checkbox and just a checkbox.

    bonus was the confirm and validate email. Nice touch. Thanks.

    but ya… I need to add a single checkbox with a message. With that in place, I can have another plugin run some code against it and do something else. But need that checkbox

    Hello formerfatguy.

    If you need a simple checkbox, this is already available. You can have a simple checkbox with the Poor and with the Rich Guy version of the plugin. You simple need to activate checkbox presentation on a configured select custom field.

    Tax exempt will make it into one of the next updates of the Rich Guy, too. Should not take all that long. One or two weeks.
