  • Hi there I’m having the same issue. Did you have any luck sorting it?

Just installed the plug-in and I am getting the same thing. Not only the extra characters, but it throws off the styling.

For me, it was because of W3 Total Cache. I tried deactivating the W3 plugin and the results look fine. Guessing W3 is replacing some odd/bad/strange code?

But I still need W3. So guess this plugin won’t work. It’s a shame, it shows the more relevant results of any search plugins I’ve tried.

You’d think some one to help with this, it’s been a month now. Or they want people to pay for pro? Though, makes you wonder if the support will be any better if you pay.

Yeah that’s it. Found the same thing with W3. Will keep you posted if I find a solution ??

I decided just to ditched W3. Wasn’t totally impressed with it anyways. There are other plugins that can do the same thing.

This plugin gives me the best search results for Woocommerce out of all the so many others I’ve tried and that is important.

But of course this should be fixed. Sad the author doesn’t contribute and help out here. Though from another recent thread, doesn’t look like they support the paid version any better.

    Hi

Yes, the plugin have conflict with W3 Total Cached, W3 Total Cached auto add comment to ]]> and it appear on popup results.

You can use another cache plugin as WP Super Cache while we will find way to fix this, the plugin is using Backbone script and it’s cause that have conflict with W3 Total Cached

    Regards,
    Nguyen
