Extra p tags and br tags

I’m using the latest wordpress and the latest plugin. I’ve tried every configuration I can think of having spaces or no spaces before and after each tab. I tried wrapping the [tab] in <p>’s which was a solution I found for the same problem but a different plugin. I can’t seem to figure it out, so I’m turning here for help.
