    Hi @julia77

Could you clarify what kind of external requests you mean that you are trying to block?

You can refer to our developer documentation for more reference on what APIs we use for the plugin – https://developer.yoast.com/

    Hello,

That′s the point. I′m looking for the external url′s requested by this plugin to function properly in its free version.

The link you provided doesn′t contain info about it.

    Hi @julia77

After consulting with our developers, we found the following external URLs being used in the free version of Yoast SEO for WordPress plugin:

    • https://www.google.com (sitemap ping)
    • https://www.bing.com (sitemap ping)
    • https://indexability.yoast.onpage.org (ryte integration)
    • https://oauth.semrush.com (semrush integration)
    • The Yoast SEO plugin requests those external URLs for those particular features. However, even if you should block any of those external URLs, the Yoast SEO plugin would most likely still work even then.

There are also some external URLs that reference to MyYoast (our subscription connection check) and Zapier (integration), but this is for the premium version of the Yoast SEO for WordPress plugin.
