External Media URL Updates incorrectly

After adding the Media URL to the library to embed with JW Player, the url turns out to always go to \uploads\…\http:\\youtu.be…
Hopefully this gets fixed as I’m unable to post youtube using the JW Player settings without uploading the video to my own server.
