External links not opening in new page

  • My external links have stopped opening in a new page. Even though the box is ticked. I have tried redoing the whole link and it still does not work.

    The internal links seem to be working.

  • Hello Mrs. Kool,
    looking at the source of your page looks like that option is not active.
    Could you try to uncheck the box and check it again?

    Thank you I did uncheck the box and re checked it. Re did the whole link and it still did not work.

    BUT, and I should have thought of this I recently used a plugin called Share this. When I deactivated it all is well again.

    I still see that option as non active..

    Do you have any server side cache active?

    Thanks, I checked with BlueHost and they said no. They said it must have been the plugin.
