External link to a page to open lightbox (php to call opening box?)

Howdy,

I have a (likely silly) question, but it’s something that I don’t really know how to phrase well enough, apparently, to get a solution through searching.

So, my company wants to send an email that links to the video we have on a certain page. We want to make it so that, when they click the link, it automatically opens the lightbox to play the video. Is this possible, or is there a way I can use PHP to conditionally call the opening script?

I’m fairly experienced, so feel free to just explain the concept or point me in the right direction. Thanks!
