External link : popup not working

Hi
Thank you for your plugin which is really useful!
I have a problem with external links.
To call the popups, I go through URL: everything works fine.

However, on the main page there are external links to other websites.
When I click on one of these links that open it in a new tab. If I go back to the original page, the popup no longer opens. I have to refresh the page for the popups to work again.
Is there an adjustment to be made?
