External Link in Text Editor does not work

    Theme: Catch Box responsive

    Hi Guys,
    I am quite beginner in WordPress and I am facing now a problem with my page builder Elementor. I am a new user of Elementor using previously site origin page builder.

    I really like the plugin finding it easier to use.
    However, when I am starting to use it, everything is fine except when I am trying to applying some external link in some text.
    Nothing happens.

    I tried to disable some of my plugins to see if there are any conflicts and looks like he conflict come from Site Origin Page Builder.

    Do you know if there is something to do?
    Because if I disable Site Origin, all the pages that have been created with the plugin collapse… ??

  • I’ve just tested both Elementor’s Text widget and WordPress’s built-in Text widget and can confirm that I can’t add a link using the visual editors in both. I have the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle plugin installed, and its Text widget behaves similarly. If I disable the SiteOrigin Widget Bundle plugin, both Elementor and WordPress’s text widgets work fine. So it looks like it’s an issue with the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle plugin – looking at the support threads it does appear that they’re having problems integrating with Elementor. I use the Map widget so can’t disable it.

    Sorry about this! This will be corrected in the next update which introduces a major overhaul (code wise, not functionality) of the SiteOrigin Editor widget which in turn resolves this issue.

    Hi Guys,

    Unsure if this is a similar issue. I am under my theme, widget and top trying access the text function. My developer has access to the same version and admin as I have but has access to top text edit function. I do not as it’s hidden. I cannot find a way to edit my text in widget. All browsers for my developer work fine. I would upload a screen shot but cannot here.

    Hi, I am facing similar issue, after setting-up link on my landing page, when I click on that link, it is not redirecting to my Home-page or Inner-pages.
    What could be the problem? Anyone have solution for this? Would appreciate.
