    Hi there,
    I am trying to optimize my website for SEO but I am confused on one thing. The Yoast analysis says, “No outbound links appear in this page, consider adding some as appropriate.” and also “No internal links appear in this page, consider adding some as appropriate.”

    I am very confused as I have many links on my page both pointing to internal pages and external sites. However, these links are on buttons and images as my site is not a blog site but rather an educational e-commerce site. Why would these links not count?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    The plugin will only recognize links contained in the standard editor area. If you placed the links in your menubar, sidebar or footer, the plugin may not be able to recognize them.

    Thanks for your reply. Oh no that sucks. Any suggestions on how to get around this?

    Orphaned content refers to pages (or posts) that have zero links from other pages on your site. So if a certain page is marked by the Yoast plugin as an orphan, that means this page has zero links from other pages on your site. To fix this, you need to edit one of your other posts or pages and add a link to the orphan page.

    Ok, Thanks so much for your time.

    Hello. Even though Yoast doesn’t recognise the internal and outbound links in sidebars/footers, will Google still recognise them? I have 2 outbound links in this url (where the reviews are) but Yoast doesn’t pick them up. Any ideas?

    I have links on a page and it still says no outbound links detected. I got greenlights for both readability and SEO but want to know why it’s saying this.
    I’m not using any visual editor plugin, just the native one using wordpress.

    Hello;

    So I have the same question. While Yoast is reporting no inbound links there are links in my menu in the header. So just because Yoast can’t handle it will the search engines? is there a way to get this and see?
