External Form?

Is there a way to have an external form that uses a caldera form as the target? Basically the key thing im wanting to use from Caldera is its processor creation/management. I created a form, copy and pasted its created form html, manually set the action with the full url of the original form. Submits, but i immediately get “Submission rejected, token invalid”. Right now im testing in its most simplest form, but would prefer to submit and receive response through javascript or php. Im not sure if their api allows for form submission or just form configs, etc. Any ideas to accomplish this are appreciated.
