External database

Hi there,

I really love WP Statistics but at the same time I am concerned that my WordPress database will become very large and slow, especially for sites with a lot of traffic. Am I worrying too much about it?

I saw that you are considering to offer a paid addon to use an external database for the statistics data. I am very much interested in this addon and was wondering if you already have an ETA for that?
