    Dear support team,

I’m just making an initial enquiry into whether the plugin is.

    1. Reponsive – will it reshape when the user has a smaller screened devide?
    2. Connect to an external DB – can I connect it as a catalogue for an internal database we have for stock managment. I’m looking for something that can be used to integrate as a display of current stock in database we already have.

Thank you for giving the time to read my request. Here’s to hopping it works!

    Hi there,

The catalogue is responsive, it should resize for all screen sizes, and the premium version comes with a mobile layout as well to make it more usable for visitors on mobile devices.

For the internal database, the catalogue uses WP’s built in SQL functions, so it would only work if your database was in the same place as your WordPress install. I know that a couple of other users of have created temporary copies of their internal tables in the same location as their WP install, and then have a cron script that updates the tables each morning. It’s a bit more advanced though, so it would really depend on how comfortable you are with coding.

    Hope that helps!

That’s great, sounds quite advanced. Maybe someone has patched a script out there that only needs customising, might be worth the investigation. The main issue is that we have already built our staff database and the output is a little old and un-responsive. So looking into something like this that can use the old input staff system with all it’s intrecacy and output via a wordpress plugin. Climbing the mountain, slowly but surely. Thanks for your good support
