    Hi there,

many, many thanks for this great plugin. i have been looking for a way to implement a seat reservation system for a long time and this plugin solves many of my problems. My question would be whether some extensions would be possible?

    1. Would it be possible after a guest has confirmed by email that his booking is correct, he will receive another email with the attributes of the order such as the booking ID, seat number, room, etc.? It would be perfect if the booking ID were available as a barcode or QR code in the mail. The visitor could then print out this e-mail and use it as an entrance ticket for the event, where only the code would then have to be scanned.

    2. It would also be great if the text in the email to be sent could still be adjusted.

Otherwise the plugin is really great, thank you very much for that.

Sad to hear that it did not fix the problem. What email provider and client are you using?

I tested it with the providers GMX, GOOGLE Mail and Strato Mail. My email client is Thunderbird. Unfortunately, the OR code was also not displayed in the email directly on the provider mailboxes. I will try again with other providers. So far I have not been able to find a bug that would block the QR code from being displayed

Soon I will release a new version of the plugin that will add some extra logs. I am hoping it will help to solve your problem.

    Hey. I published version 1.9.1
Can you test the QR Code?
Also in booking manager you should see booking logs (click more info). So booking that got approved should have log that tells if email was sent with QR code.

I have tested version 1.9.1 but unfortunately the bug persisted. In the booking process, I am also informed that a confirmation email with a QR code has been sent to the user. Will the QR code be sent as an image file in the email? I also suspect that the mail server that sends the emails to the users is blocking the QR code. All other attributes such as the table and all other texts are correctly present in the email.

The QR Code is sent as a embedded image. How to you connect to your email provider? Do you use some WordPress SMTP plugin like WP Mail SMTP by WPForms? Do you have some other plugin that might interfere?

    Hi there,

that was the right hint. I had used “Post SMTP” as a plug-in for the e-mails on both WordPress installations. And that was where the problem lay all along. To test whether other plugins affect the email, I tried both WordPress installations with different plugins, but I never changed the plugin used to send the emails. I can confirm that your plugin is working properly. I now have “Easy WP SMTP” as a plug-in for sending emails and everything works as it should. Many thanks for the help.

Glad to hear that. I will mark as resolved.
