Extension the website

Hi there,

First post here, so hopefully in the right place.

I’m building a website for a personal trainer.
For the site i am using the X theme: https://themeforest.net/item/x-the-theme/5871901

He wants the following private section added for his clients

1: Clients can log in to their (private!!) page
2: They have to be able to upload a progress picture every month
3: He must be able to add a document for them every month
4: Trainer and Client should be able to communicate with each other.
5: Interaction between Clients is not necessary

My first guess is to use Buddypress, but it’s not completely how we want it.

Any advice?
