Extending using Pods – differnce between extending user and extending PM Member

    I can add additional fields to User and as I have the PMPro addon for Pods I can also add fields to the PMPro Member. Can you tell me what the difference is? The support guys at Pods said this:

    `In testing, adding fields to PMPro Member didn’t seem to have any effect on the Paid Memberships Pro fields or interface.

    Tested with https://github.com/strangerstudios/paid-memberships-pro/ and PMPro Pods Add-on enabled.

    I may be missing something as well; this might be a good question for the Paid Memberships Pro team as to what’s supposed to happen when extending those types.`

    Thank you for reaching out to Paid Memberships Pro.

    The PMPro Member type is custom fields that are related to a user with a membership level, as well as showing fields during the checkout process of Paid Memberships Pro.
