Extending Retweet Display Length?

  • Hi everybody,

    I’m currently working with a client who’s looking to display their tweets as well as retweets from vendors in the footer of their site.

    The only problem we’re having with the Recent Tweets plugin is that the retweets often contain links that are being cut off with three ellipses. Clicking these links then send you to an error page as it’s not the full link. See the example below.

    Does anyone know of a patch or some kind of workaround that would allow retweets more characters so site visitors can see the full tweet?
