Extending Brands Archive Page to include more than the basic description field?

  • I would like to extend the Brand Archive page to include more than just the basic text in the description field.
    One request would be for the Description field to be able to output a shortcode.
    The other request would be for this field to be a fully editable WordPress editor field.
    Any suggestions on easiest solutions, and where to dig in?

    Another thought, and probably easier to pull-off…
    How do I output the brand products into a regular page, with the free plugin, is there a way?
