• Hi, this is a bit of a strange one. I downloaded the ‘Extended Live Archives’ plugin and I have it installed ok. The only problem is that now that my archive section is a ‘Page’, it is appearing at the top of every page that I open. Please go to my site and click on different pages to see what I mean

While I am on the subject (this is not as important) can someone tell me how I would put a link to my New Archive Page where the old Archive link is now in the sidebar. I know where to put it but I don’t know what code to use. Thanks for your help guys

  • Did you create a separate Page template for your archives Page or did you put the code in your default (=page.php) template?

EDIT. And don’t double post… I am very quick with the delete button!

Oops! Should I have created another page.php by copying the original template and pasting the code in there? If so what should I call the new page template

It was another question, I thought was more relevant to the other board. Just looking an archive link at the end of each post.

Reading the Codex is always beneficial ??

OK, fair enough. But can you enlighten me on what code to use to link to my Archive Page in my sidebar and below each post? (I did look in the codex)
