Extended header on pages other than home page

  • Hi,

    I tried to set up an extended header on pages like About and Contact on my page, and also individual posts pages, but it seems it doesn’t work like the extended header on the Home page.

    I was following these instructions: https://satoristudio.net/bento-manual/#extended-header, so in the page editor mode I ticked the “Activate Extended Header” checkbox and then set the featured image.
    But the image doesn’t really appear in the page header, but is displayed as a regular thumbnail for post – so it is not streched to full width of the screen, but just streched to fit the width of the page content, so there are margins on the top, left and right I don’t like.

    Do I have to set up something additionally to make extended header work on pages other than Home? Or extended header doesn’t work for other pages and I have to go with some workaround with Page Builder etc.?

    The procedure you’re describing sounds about right – could you please provide a link to a page where this doesn’t work as intended (i.e. the image doesn’t get stretched?). Seeing the live code will help me provide a more specific recommendation.
