Call me a doofus but I still can’t make an extended entry. I’m using WP 1.5 with the Kubrick style. Here’s what I’m doing: immediately after the first paragraph I click the ‘more’ button which puts the code right after the last word/coma. I then enter the text I want included in the extended entry under the first paragraph, after the ‘more’ code. Like this:

    1st paragraph<!–more–>
    2nd paragraph

Can somebody please tell me what I’m doing wrong? It would have been better to just have an extended entry box under the text box…

Try putting <!–more–> on its own line.

    Example:

    First paragraph.
    <!–more–>
    Second paragraph.

Are your Reading Options set to 1 post per page by any chance?
    If so, see this thread:

If there’s only one post on a page, <!--more--> doesn’t work properly. This has been addresed in for the next release.
