Extend or customize

Hi there,

I was hoping to easily extent this great plugin with some ideas of my own. I’m new to wordpress (php) development and through some browsing I figured out that one needs “actions” or “filters” to extent its functionality. Perhaps the ideas I have are already on the development plan of “richteam”.

For example, the customisations I had in mind is the ability to add periods as in from date –> to date, as opposed to entering just a single (start)-date. The other thing I’d be interested in is the ability specify the type of life event (e.g. holiday, business deal, marriage or divorce, start-up, etc.). The other thing was the ability to add an emotion to the event such as: happy, sad, euphoric, depressed, etc. or the ability to add “tags” to the event and the ability to filter on those tags.

Is there a way contribute to this project?
