Hi and thanks so much for developing such a clean, functional, and useful plugin!

In addition to what’s provided in No Nonsense, I’ve also utilized the various functions provided by Unbloater and Disable Bloat for WordPress & WooCommerce. The latter actually was previously focused exclusively on WooCommerce, but just incorporated all the functions of Unbloater into a “Pro version”.

I prefer the interface and functionality of No Nonsense above either of these, but there are some really useful pieces in both of these that would seem to fit the vision of this plugin, especially some of the third-party plugin integrations such as Woocommerce and Rank Math debloating. I’m wondering if you could look at achieving feature parity at some point.

    Thank-you!

Thanks for your suggestions! While I have just been focused on core WordPress functionality so far with No Nonsense, I could see adding similar options for commonly used plugins (especially WooCommerce). I’m a little worried though that stuffing those features into No Nonsense itself is kind of counterproductive. I could see some value in the future in adding a No Nonsense companion add-on to supplement the core options with similar settings specific to common plugins like this.

Sure, I understand your perspective very well, and figured that you might be thinking as much. That said, WooCommerce is a pretty “big fish” here, even as you’ve acknowledged.

I believe I’ll work on a feature matrix to be able to compare these three plugins and easily spot what additional (even core) options could be incorporated to achieve closer parity.

I’d love to see that as a way to help me identify additional options I could add to No Nonsense or a possible WooCommerce- or general plugin-oriented add-on.

I’ve just released version 2.3 today which introduces a couple of filters to extend the No Nonsense functionality. This will give developers an easy way to add their own functions to the interface, and I will probably also use it myself to create an add-on companion plugin to extend No Nonsense to features of popular third-party plugins like WooCommerce.
