Hi, I’ve updated my PayPal to business to continue using the plugin and have successfully connected it but I’m getting the error message:
    “The product EXPRESS_CHECKOUT not found”
Please help. I’m happy to move to Pro, if I can get it connected okay.

    Hi @ebensa,

That message means that for some reason PayPal isn’t allowing your account to use Express Checkout.

You should be able to safety ignore this message and continue to use the plugin without any other problems.

I do plan on issuing a plugin fix soon that makes this message less scary sounding. Sorry about that!

If you have any other questions, just let me know.

    Best,
    Scott

Thanks Scott but unfortunately this is preventing the plugin from working. The message on the purchase page where the button should be is:

“An error occurred while connecting PayPal SDK. Check the plugin settings.”

The only error message or indication there is something wrong is “EXPRESS_CHECKOUT not found”. Everything else appears to be configured correctly.

That is strange. I haven’t seen this before, but I’m assuming that for some reason PayPal Express is not active on your account. Only PayPal can tell you why that may be.

The only thing I can recommend is going to the settings page and disconnecting your PayPal account, then try reconnecting choosing the “Accept Credit and Debit Card Payments with PayPal”

If that does not work, I’m going to have to recommend using the Stripe option in the plugin as it sounds like something maybe wrong with your PayPal account.
