Express Checkout with PayPal Standard and s2Member Pro

    I’ve set up a website using s2Member pro and I’m using a PayPal Standard account to take payments. Is there any way to get Express Checkout with this combination? I called PayPal and they said that to be able to take recurring payments with Express Checkout, I would have to upgrade to PayPal Pro.

    The s2Member pro-forms for PayPal integrate with Express Checkout. WP Admin -> s2Member -> PayPal Pro-Forms

    That isn’t true. You can sell subscriptions with Express Checkout without getting PayPal Pro. The customer will be required to login to PayPal, though.

    Similar situation I’m in…

    So if the user does not have a paypal account how can they make a payment. Not everyone has a paypal account. Would we have to upgrade to Paypal Pro to allow users to pay without creating an account?
