Express Checkout on Checkout page not possible?

Basically how can the customer checkout using PayPal Smart Button while on the checkout page without having to fill in all required fields?

It’s a standard ecommerce approach for fast payment gateway option, see Shopify for example or Stripe with Apple/Google Pay.
