We want CC payments from Stripe, especially input and validation, to happen off our website, and at the Stripe website instead. For that reason, we wish to offer only Express Checkout, without the inline Credit Cards feature, and only in the checkout page (i.e. no cart, no products). Is that scenario at all possible with your plugin?

If that scenario is indeed possible, then we have an issue with Express Checkout, as it isn’t showing up in the checkout page. Only the inline Credit Cards feature is showing up. For example: https://postimg.cc/xJGTmWMf

Could check the issue at this test site: https://postimg.cc/gx0x3VhM

We’ve followed the instructions, and all the API tests come good. The are no errors in the log either. Have tested with a default theme and disabling all plugins excluding yours and WC, but the Express checkout isn’t showing up. Have also tested the Express Checkout feature with a different plugin from the WP repository, and it’s working fine. So I presume all is good with our Stripe configuration. Hope to get your plugin working, too.

    Thanks!

  • Hello @alx359,

Thank you for choosing our product and getting in touch!

While checking your website, we could see that the express checkout is working properly.

    Here’s a screenshot for your reference: https://d.pr/i/NuqI7v

Also, we were able to place an order via express checkout:

Sometimes express checkout may not appear as it is totally dependent on browser configuration and payment method available in the browser.

    Read more: https://checkoutplugins.com/docs/how-to-setup-express-checkout/

Lastly, it is not possible as of now to have the express checkout without card payment, as express checkout is dependent on card processing.

    Hope this helps.

    Hello Mahdi,

Thank you for your response, but I’m still a bit confused.

What’s called “Express Checkout” in your plugin seems to be the ability of displaying the GPay or Apple Pay buttons in a merchant’s website. Is that correct?

However, my initial inquiry was actually about a different Stripe service that’s called Stripe Checkout, which consists of a stripe-hosted payment page that accepts CC and others but off the merchant’s website.

Can you please confirm if Stripe Checkout is at all supported in your plugin? (Think these so similarly-named features have caused a misunderstanding of my part when communicating by email with your support team, for what I sincerely apologize.)

    Thanks again.

Okay, got your email confirming Stripe Checkout isn’t supported at this time.
