Looking at the exported info for organizations, it does not include the key field. And in viewing the contact table export, it refers it seems to a key field for the organization. Have not looked at tasks.

What I wish to accomplish at this time is to export the organization, contact and tasks tables, import them into a database and generate functioning reports. Given that I am a ‘startup’ in using the CRM, as well marketing my company to a large audience, I need to develop reports that work and reduce the amount of time I am expending with the current WP-CRM System.

In short, is there anyway to modify the export data to enable ‘tying’ the tables together in a database?

  • Originally, the export feature only allowed for the ID number of the record that was associated with the export row. For example, if you were exporting contacts, the organization ID number would be listed, but not the organization name. Admittedly this is probably not the most useful method to list the data.

If you update to version 2.0.3 (for contacts, opportunities, projects, and tasks) you will see the record’s title as well as ID number in the export file. This should allow you to import into another system and match on either the ID number or record name as needed.

If not, please visit the support forum, or open a support ticket as this topic is not related to the core CRM plugin that this forum is reserved for.
