• My form doesn’t have a subject field I have them set up to use the additional setting flamingo_subject (this way in the admin panel I can see which form is receiving the submission).

However, when I go to export the inbound messages there is no subject field included. Is there a way either through the additional settings tab or another method to get the data included in export.

Or is the data exported tied directly to a field and I have to set an invisible field and fill it with some default data such as the subject / url of the page.

I am essentially looking to get the subject information included in the file export.

How do you use the flamingo_subject?

Under additional settings I have it written as

    flamingo_subject: “Ecommerce Leads”

Why do you need to include “Ecommerce Leads” in the CSV export file when you know EVERY record has a column with the same text content “Ecommerce Leads”?

There are about 70 different forms the subject field through additional settings changes depending on the form.

For example, one form might be flamingo_subject: “Shopify Leads” and that one form might be included on a specific page as it has a unique email it gets sent to.

The issue though is when inbound messages are exported they don’t specify the form it originated from or the subject as a unique identifier.

So in the admin panel, it works perfectly as I can easily identify this message came from xyz form based on the subject. But not so much on export.

You mean you have 70 different forms and all of them share the same set of input fields? Sounds a bit inefficient to manage, doesn’t it?

The forms have varying input fields but none of them include a subject field.

If the forms have varying input fields, you can’t export all the submission data through the forms at one time because the exported CSV only includes columns that the first record in the data has.

Okay, that’s how I thought it worked wanted to be sure thank you!

Hi, a question… There are limit exporting received forms to csv in flamingo? I have more than 600 forms export to CSV but doesn’t work. I put all the forms to a trash an then I restore 275 and work perfect but i put another one and doesn’t work. Any Idea? Thanks!
