    Hi,

I have created a new wpms.

I would like to import from another wp 3.05 (no ms), all posts with the respective images, and the plugins with its set ups only, to my new wpms. Nothing else.
    IE: (contents & images)+(plugins & settings)= X

If I’m right, ms manages 1 unique database. So how can I import X into the mapped site, without having to use myphpadmin for instance?

Is there an easy technique or a great plugin that can do this?
Thus which can export only the selected tables of posts, images, plugins, setups?

If possible, once imported, could X influence negatively the wpms configuration?

    Thnx

I found something very good, it’s called “advanced export plugin for wp and wpms”, but still need to find pluging that exports all plugins with their parameters all in one.
I will post it here if so.

The advanced export plugin DOES NOT pull lugin data.

I know of no plugin that will do so, for import into multisite. It has to be done via the database.

If you;re not comfortable doing this, hire someone. Or set the plugins up all over again.

yep, that’s what I’m doing now… but takes ages… nothing that exports the plugins, but I just found one that export/imports settings only (sk-wp-settings-backup)
… I’ll test it… hope it’s not gona mess up the db.

    hmm… not sure if it’s working properly…

by chance, do you know a plugin that can export/import widgets with or without settings?

I already stated that I didn’t know of any.
