• We had our PC stolen with all photos so I am trying to export the photos we published on our blog but can’t seem to see how to do this.
Is there a way to extract all the photos we posted back out of wordpress?

Download them via FTP, really, is the best.

Check your webhost’s knowledge base and see if they have directions on how to use FTP with their servers. Every host is a little different, so we can’t tell you exactly how to do it, sorry. (Its like how every car has a slightly different way of handling the transmission or the blinkers…)

If so, you want to download the wp-content/uploads folder. Your images will be in their.

    Thanks Ipstenu

    The wordpress help says…
We do not allow FTP (File Transfer Protocol) access to any WordPress.com blogs. This covers alternatives to using FTP with your WordPress.com blog
    (https://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/)

And then there is just info about how to transfer stuff onto wordpress… nothing about how to get stuff off…

    cheers
