exporting & importing posts & how they map the images

We are working on a new website & it’s almost done > https://diymusician.cdbaby.com/dev/

We are importing posts from a previous website here > https://diymusician.cdbaby.com

When we export/import posts 1 month at a time. Some of the images within the posts are being mapped with the /dev in the url & some are being mapped w/out the /dev in the image src/url.

Is there any way to configure the way WordPress is mapping the images while doing the export/import?

I am just using the Tools > Import/Export functionality built into WordPress.
