Exporting from one domain to another and different hostings

  • Hi people, i′m in a terrible mess. I need to move a wordpress running site to a new domain and.. besides this the new server it′s one a different hosting. I′m used to work with joomla so i made basically the same steps, the problem was that when i click on a menu button to go to a page the link took me to the old site. Thanks to this tutorial (https://www.mydigitallife.info/how-to-move-wordpress-blog-to-new-domain-or-location/comment-page-6/#comment-931229) now the new site buttons doesnt connect to the old database, but now when i click on the button i get an error page “File not found” but if i mouseover on the button it points to the correct domain and url.
    What am i missing ?
    any idea ?
