Exporting extra product option add-on fields

    Hello,

    We recently loaded the plugin and think it will be perfect for generating the automatic exports with the detail we need, but I’m really struggling with one issue.

    I’m using “Extra Product Options (Product Addons) for WooCommerce” – from themehigh – latest version 2.1

    I’ve added some extra product options and they need to appear as columns in the export. I’ve read all the posts about exporting add-on custom fields and know that I need to add some additional code for the columns to be in the export.

    I found the algoplus code snippets, but the snippet is for “WooCommerce TM Extra Product Options” and requires identifying the element ID. I cannot find the element id.

    Are there any other code snippet examples for adding the extra product options as columns to the export that do not require the element ID in the TM example or is there something else I need to use to get the extra information that I added with “Extra Product Options (Product Addons) for WooCommerce” plugin?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Poly

    As I remember, this plugin uses standard way to store item meta.
    So please, don’t use any custom code!

    You should open section “Set up fields”, open section “Product Items”(right column), click button “Add field”, select field in the dropdown, type column title,press button “Confirm” and drag field to export.

    Hi Alex,
    The fields I added with the extra project options do NOT show up in the Product Fields list when I click Add Field. I can see the fields I created in the “Filter by Item and Metadata” section under the “Item metadata” dropdown list, so I know they are there and this plugin can see them. When I look at the orders in WooCommerce, I can see the information has been populated in the new fields, so there is data to pull.

    Any ideas on how I can get the fields to show up in the product fields list so I can add them to the export?

    Thanks Alex,
    I was clicking on Product Items before, but did not realize that the Add Field was specific to the category that was selected.

    I was able to add the fields and get them in in the export!
