Exporting Entries: I’ve searched and found, but cant udnerstand?

So i’ve searched and found a few things about exporting entries from WP, although i can’t understand most of the plugins/hacks/watever, and cant do what i want?

I know its a hassle to start a new thread, but bear with me, as i’ve jumped around about 40 links trying to find out how to export entries as text/word but failing to achieve aything.

Basically, i just need some way to export/backup all WP entries into perhaps a single html or text file.

Upon searching, i’ve found stuff like “phpmyadmin it” “goto this site, download that and edit all the lines with blah” “wordpress needs an export function”… etc.

So can anyone help me out pleeeeasse?
