• Hi,

I want to export the content of my blog in a way that the exported content also includes modification of the content which take place through plugins, shortcodes etc. Basically I want to export the content just as it is on the web, not the “raw” post as it is stored in the database

As an example what I mean, I add a book reference to my posts through the use of custom fields. In do this through the usage of a plugin I wrote. When using the normal export tool I wont get this addition to the content.

So I wonder how to achieve this. Is there any tool available for this requirement?

    Thanks a lot

    Martin

  • Where do you want to export it to, and why?

Plenty of reasons, for example I want to repost content on social networks. I can do with copy and paste but there are links included which i want to shorten etc so being able to extract the content would help me greatly to partly automize what i do now manually.

Also once I have the full content extracted I could create word documents for various categories containing the content etc.
