• I’ve got Advanced Custom Fields set up to add custom fields to both my custom post type, and a custom taxonomy attached to that.
The taxonomy custom fields are obviously stored in wp_options, is there any way I can refer to these to include these in the export (e.g. Post type is Movie, Taxonomy is Genre, and there are custom fields attached to that for a description of the Genre and the biggest movies in that genre).

It doesn’t work in the same way as adding Custom fields attached to the post type (using cf_fieldname), is it possible to do this? Or can I only export the name of the taxonomy the post is in?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi cfox0807

Last time I checked (a while ago), WP CSV did support tags, categories, and custom taxonomies. The plugin doesn’t extract any information from wp_options however. If you’re sure the key information is stored there, then WP CSV probably won’t work for you.

    Best wishes
