Exporting and importing product_cat title and description

    Hi!

    I’m developing a new site for a client, but I need the product_cat SEO data to be the same as the old site. I’m using All Export Pro and All Import Pro, but there’s no way to export the product_cat wp seo fields with them, so I figured I’d do it via SQL.

    Now I see that the data is saved in wp_yoast_indexable, but adjusting that might not be the safest way. (I’ve tried copying the title and description in a local environment to no avail).

    So how is this data stored and what is the best way to migrate it?

    Hello Tommy,

    Thanks for reaching out about migrating your data.

    The product_cat data can be found in the wp_yoast_indexable table in the WordPress database. You can then export this from the old database as SQL and import it into the new site.
