Exporting and Importing CSV Files

I have the TM Extra Product Options plugin and have some options I created for a single product on the product page.

I want to take those options and move them to the Global area so that I can make the options available for other products.

I went to that product page and exported the options. The options were then opened in some sort of a file within Excel.

What do I do with the file at that point from within Excel? I tried saving as a CSV file, TXT, file, then tried importing, but it doesn’t work. None of the options import.

How can I properly export, then import options?
