Exporting a Gallery – am I missing something?

    Hi

    I’m trying to export a set of Galleries from Max Galleria Pro, so I can re-import them into a new version of the site.

    I have exported the media with MLFP, and exported the Galleries with the WordPress Export tool. The media files have re-imported OK, and the Galleries have been created, but they are empty.

    How do I re-populate the Galleries with the original images?
    I am clearly missing something in the process!

    There is no export available for MaxGalleria galleries with images. You will have to add the images to the galleries.

    Really?? That seems like a huge gap in functionality?

    Why would I want to recreate a Gallery and not populate it with the images??

    Unfortunately, moving galleries from one site to another has not been requested feature. We can consider this for the future.

    We started work on developing a export/import process for MaxGalleria. Expect it to be released in a few months.

    The latest version of Maxgalleria Pro now has a gallery import/export feature.
