Export/Import Slideshow

I need to export my slideshows so I can import them onto my test site, however when I use the WordPress export and import tool, it simply imports the slideshow names and settings, but there aren’t any slides within the slideshows. All of the media files have been copied over, so the files that were referenced do exist with the same names and file structure. Any tips on how to properly export and import the slideshows so the slides also show up?
