I am doing some design and development in a test environment for a site that I’m moving over to Customizr. Is there any way (even through the DB directly) to export all of the options I am selecting in the Appearance>Customize section of WordPress so I don’t have to go through and manually match the settings in the live environment?
(I can give details and links if you need them, but I figured this question is generic enough that they’re unnecessary)

    Thanks!
    Joe

  • Generic question brings a generic answer.
Use this great plugin to migrate the site:

the easiest and safest way to do it!

    Hope it helps

I definitely asked for that. ??

That plugin would be perfect if I were doing a larger migration. In this case, though, the only pieces I want to copy across are the settings I have selected in the Customize menus for the Customizr theme. Am I missing something about your suggestion?

    nope!
but in my humble experience it is easier to import all the db since customizr does not support (for now) settings export/import functionality.

But to answer to your question, you can import the “options” table from your db, but something might be stored in other tables… I actually never investigated this and I always fear touching single portions of the db

Gotcha. Thanks. I fully agree that tweaking single portions of the db (without knowing EXACTLY what I’m doing is dangerous).

For this one, since my data in the dev environment is not going to be meaningfully in sync with the production environment, I will do it the old fashioned way (manually setting the options to match). It’s not that big an ordeal, but I was hoping for even easier.

With the good development I’ve seen to date on Customizr, I shall hope that this gets included in a future update.

    Cheers.

    Glad you solved it,
    give this a try maybe?!
