Export/Import add-on

The problem could be with the XML structure, but it also could be because of Import feature. So we’ll test on our end and see.

Our development team has checked the issue and here’s what the problem is. You are not able to edit your forms, because they have been created with very old version of Form Maker.

For enabling editable function, please install one of its previous versions (1.10/2.10 should be fine), recreate the forms, then update to 1.11/2.11.

Also please note, that the Export/Import add-on does not work with the old forms as well, you can use the add-on only after you recreate the forms with a newer Form Maker version.

This is disappointing news to me as I had the Pro version used previously and the updates did not support the “old” form structure anymore. How can that happen? Did at one point in the last two years or so all customers had to build their forms new?
Can I get a return at least for the Export/Import add-on as it is not useful for me in that case?
I will build the forms on the new system with the FM pro I bought the other day.

We are very sorry for the disappointment. Yes, unfortunately all users who have forms created with Form Maker 1.6/2.6 version or lower need to recreate the forms before updating to 1.11/2.11.

For pro or commercial product support please contact the author directly on their site.

As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. As you are their customer I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.
