    Hello,

i am using Event Tickets on a french website. When exporting attendees list, accent (often use in french) are not rended correctly.. Instead of “Cédric”, i get C??dric.
This problem can be avoid using UTF8 encoding. Is it possible to change this with an action/hook for exemple or something else?

    thanks for your help,

    Best regards

    Cédric

  • Hi Cedric,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I hope you’re doing well.

The charset used is coming from the WordPress options (blog_charset), are you able to modify that via the WordPress settings? (Settings > Reading)

If not, you could possibly try to iterate over the items that are going to be exported and modify the encoding of these?

The filter to modify the attendees items to be exported is: tribe_events_tickets_attendees_csv_items

    https://github.com/the-events-calendar/event-tickets/blob/00a7c2f0fe5b2e01e7735a43931f97c815e7c64e/src/Tribe/Attendees.php#L650

    Best,
    Juan.
