My client currently has a store locator on their site with several locations. I’m going to redesign. I still want to use the same plugin, but I want to know if I can simply import the data from the old site? It’d be great to simply install the plugin and upload the data.

In the WP admin are you can go to Tools -> Export -> Store Locator, export the data, and import it again with the same tool.

Thanks for the quick response. I was able to export the data with no issue. However, I when I go to tools/Import, I don’t see the option to import the store locator data.

This are the instructios in the XML file you exported:
I think it’s gonna works fine.
To import this information into a WordPress site follow these steps: –>
    1. Log in to that site as an administrator.
    2. Go to Tools: Import in the WordPress admin panel.
    3. Install the “WordPress” importer from the list.
    4. Activate & Run Importer.
    5. Upload this file using the form provided on that page.
    6. You will first be asked to map the authors in this export file to users
on the site. For each author, you may choose to map to an
existing user on the site or to create a new user.
    7. WordPress will then import each of the posts, pages, comments, categories, etc.
contained in this file into your site.

Have you created other plugins? I’d love to take a look.

“This page can’t load Google Maps correctly.”

I’m unable to get the map to work properly. I went through the steps of adding API keys. Any thoughts as to what might be causing the problem?
