    Hello Ian,

I still can’t seem to get the export function to work?

I have a dialogue box on the web page that says:

Memphis Info: Memphis Documents Library has an export file on this WordPress instance it was created on December 1st 2014 at 9:20 PM.

When I select export, a download appears to start, but inevitably fails. Safari shows a file in the downloads section 0 of 90.6MB and reports “Network Connection Lost”.

As far as I can tell, all network connections are working fine?

Can you advise how I can trouble shoot this? I have not been able to recover the library since the library crashed a month or so ago and I want to make sure export is working before I begin re-populating the library.

    Kind regards

    Bill

Have you tried a different browser?

    Hello Ian,

I have tried Safari and firefox. Both show the same error. I confirm download of the file but I get 0 of 89.2MB ??

Any thoughts? Should I try re-installing the plugin?

Chrome shows the same issue. Appears to be downloading but I get a 0 bytes file?

    Hi Ian,

I have re-installed the plugin and have begun populating it with a few items. I will advise if I have any luck.

    Regards

    Hello Ian,

As you predicted, deleting/re-installing has not made any difference. I still cannot export.

I see a .zip file in my download but it is ZERO bytes and the error dialogue when I click on it is:

Safari can’t show the file “mdocs-export.zip” in the Finder.

    Any thoughts?

My feeling that it is a server configuration that is not allowing you to download the file.

Check your php.ini file make sure this value is set:

    allow_url_fopen = on
