Export request for xml opens a post

  • I haven’t found a similar problem here, so I start a new request.

    Whenever I try to export a xml-file (export data) through my dashboard/toolbar, my WP opens a post! The button “Export-Datei herunterladen” (something like “start download”) seems to be linked to a post I wrote in 2018. I deleted the post, but then WP simply chooses another post.

    I have no idea what to do. I do not use a plugin for creating this xml and have never done so. So there shouldn’t be any remains of a plugin or so that might mess up.

    The problem is showing up steadily, no matter if I choose to download all data, posts only, media only or whatever. Another fun part: updating the WP version hasn’t changed a thing.

    Does anybody know what to do in this case?

  • Can you please share your site info?

    Go to Site Health Page then Choose Info tab, then you’ll find a copy button for copying the site info.
