Can you try clearing your local browser cache and see if that helps?

If this doesn’t change anything would you mind upgrading to the latest version of LifterLMS and see if that resolves this issue?

I can’t find anything in our updates since 3.16 that point to an issue with reporting between then but there have been hundreds of changes and improvements since 3.16.11 and upgrading could fix it.

It turns out that upgrading to the latest plugin requires a database version upgrade which impacts multiple sites and i would like to put that off if possible.

Do you know which php file puts the ‘export’ button at the bottom of the reporting/courses tab..? Just a way to verify that the code is in the right place…

Can you provide me with some more details on this “ignore” that you’re seeing?

When you open the developer tools are you seeing any red error messages in the console?

If you inspect the button element in the dev tools can you see if there’s any CSS on that element that could be hiding the button? It’s possible that there’s some CSS from another plugin or theme that’s unintentionally hiding the button.

So there are 18 red console errors. (listed below)
I toggled all the ‘Styles’ checkboxes for ‘tFoot’ and was not able to reveal the button.
It is on the ‘Accessibility’ tab where it displays ‘Ignored’
I tried replacing the button code with the pagination code below it, and as expected the pagination gets listed twice.

Actually, all those console errors were due to the fact that I was looking at a copy of the html. Repeating the exercise on the hosted page makes them all go away, still no export button though…

There must be some amount of CSS that’s disabling this button accidentally.

Could you temporarily switch to a twenty-theme and disable any other plugins and see if that helps?

Yes, agree. I rebuilt a copy of the site with just Lifter and the button is there. I’ll add back one plugin at a time tomorrow to try and identify the issue.
