    I use the “address” field in several forms, including the “ZIP/Postal Code” sub-field within it.

    When I export the form to CSV, the ZIP code data exports as numbers, not as text — i.e. 02368 instead of "02368" — and so they get imported into Excel/Numbers/Google Sheets as numbers and lose their leading zero, e.g. 02368 appears as 2368.

    I think the most appropriate behavior for the export feature would be to enclose ZIP/Postal Codes in quotes. Thanks!

    I hope you’re well today!

    I just tried to replicate this and when importing to Excel, that leading zero is not removed automatically.

    In Google Sheets it’s slightly different but you can easily avoid removing that leading zero there as well if – when importing the file – you uncheck the “Convert text to numbers, dates and formulas” checkbox:
